Baška
A culturale centre with a long tourist tradition. You will enjoy sunbathing on the long beaches, or in small intimate coves, peaceful and quiet, ideal for a long rest.
Tourist are attracted to Baška especially for its 1800 meter long pebbly beach, one of the most beautiful ones in the Adriatic. Among the sights to visit there is St. Trinity Parish Church and the Local Ethnographic Museum in the old town centre. Nearby there is a village called Jurandvor, very important in Croatian history. In St. Lucy church in Jurandvor the oldest Croatian written monument was found. The copy of this stone tablet with glagolitic inscriptions dating from the year 1100 can be seen in the church.
